Absolutely bored

Work Woes and Weekend Plans

Work's been a bit of a slog lately. Honestly, things have gotten pretty stale, so I've just been doing the bare minimum to get by. And the new hires? Forget about it. They seem to be doing absolutely nothing productive, so I've decided it's officially someone else's problem to deal with. My energy for that has just run out.

Time Off and Gaming Goals

Thankfully, I've got a few days off coming up, and I'm really looking forward to some actual fun. Top of the list is finally finishing up some TV episodes I've been binging. But the real priority is diving back into Tears of the Kingdom on my Switch. It's time to finally beat that game! I've been putting it off, but I'm determined to see it through.

My Boy's First Forays into Earning

Nothing new with the boy, he's happy as ever. He's actually started asking for money for "chores," which is pretty funny. I told him to ask the neighbors if they had any jobs, and sure enough, he already mowed their lawn. He didn't make a huge amount, but I could tell he understood the hard work involved in earning money. Especially since the neighbor has one of those old-school push-cutter devices – definitely a good lesson in manual labor! It's good to see him putting in the effort.

  1. Sounds like you need a few days of fun. It's always good to take a break and recharge. Games and Tv episodes are a good way to do that. Sometimes going on road trips to. Little mini vacations we would call them. Down some road we haven't been which would lead to a lake where we would feed the ducks and go back home.

Your son is amazing to be out there mowing grass for others. Most kids today won't even help around the house.

You are number 1 on my reading list and bookmarked in my favorites. <3
